Current Openings

  • The Role

    As a research associate, you’ll play a key role on our R&D team supporting the development and testing of our interventions in human cell models of inflammation and neurodegeneration. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their scientific career who wants to grow within a cross-disciplinary team and contribute to high-impact translational research.

    Responsibilities

    • Support and carry out the execution of in vitro experiments in cell culture models, including human immune, glial, or neuronal cells exposed to EMF protocols

    • Perform cell- and molecular-based assays that assess ROS production, mitochondrial activity, cytokine levels, autophagy, and survival

    • Carry out imaging workflow including immunostaining, fluorescence microscopy, and image quantification using tools like ImageJ or Napari.

    • Maintain lab stocks, prepare reagents, and ensure accurate data entry in notebooks and digital systems

    • Work collaboratively with scientists and engineers to develop and improve protocols and interpret experimental results

    Qualifications

    • A degree in biology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or a related field

    • At least 1–2 years of hands-on lab experience, including coursework, internships, or employment in biotech or academic labs

    • Experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular cell biology techniques (e.g. ELISA, qPCR, immunofluorescence staining, western blotting)

    • Experience with flow cytometry and PBMC isolation

    • Experience in neurobiology, cell stress signaling, or noninvasive stimulation is a plus, but not required

    • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

    • Authorization to work in the United States

    Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
